A Day in the Garden

Ashley and I decided to take a relaxing day in the garden. We both like to take pictures and so it was a great place to just practice and enjoy the nice weather we had that day. I think I could have sat on this bench all day long!

Holland

I had the amazing privilege of going to Holland for a meeting. While there I was able to visit Amsterdam and Harleem. Both of which were amazingly beautiful cities and cities where major atrocities happened during the war. There is the story of Anne Frank in Amsterdam and the story of Corrie Ten Boom in Harleem. I have to say that I was moved at both of these places. Touring through the museums I silently asked God for forgiveness for the horrible things that we do to each other. Amazing that God can still love us with His great big love when we treat each other in such ways. Amazing also that cities and people can overcome and become such beautiful places to visit. Kind of like how God changes us from stories of sadness to stories of beauty. Here are some pics..
